Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to define a progressive political program. I can't find a simple description of a political that address the needs of Main Street America. I've found dissertations that I "kind of" agree with, but you have to wade through 25 pages, and you still only have a vague feeling on how it applies to me personally. Others, like Russ Feingold's site and  Howard Dean's site are mostly about fund-raising.

I have some ideas, that I feel are just fantastic, but that's on my planet. I want to know what other progressives feel about those ideas. Of course, I'll only accept criticism from progressives. Posts that fail to reflect the basic idea of shared prosperity will be deleted. Any comments that I feel are insincere, duplicate, or offending (in my judgment) will also be removed.

I have a need to discuss my ideas with other progressives, and hopefully we'll have fun.
